Expecting the Spring Festival with Dumpling Making and Couplets Writing

Ascott TEDA MSD Tianjin organized a special residents’ event of dumpling making and couplets writing to welcome the upcoming Spring Festival. In Chinese culture, dumplings represent the meaning of festivals and reunion. Hence, we prepared delicate ingredients for this event. With the guidance of a master chef, our guests successfully accomplished their own hand-made dumplings. Everyone enjoys their works and chatted about the techniques and experience while tasting the dumplings. After the feast, guests also tried to write their new year wishes on the couplets. Let’s welcome the Spring Festival as exciting as the red color of the couplets. Guests from different countries came together, enjoying the Chinese food and folk art.
