Handicraft Experience of Cloisonne Enamel

On the occasion of the Dragon Boat Festival, Ascott Guangzhou has specially planned a culturally rich hands-on experience of cloisonne enamel for its residents.
With the teacher's expert guidance, residents were able to appreciate the intricate details and refined craftsmanship of cloisonne enamel. Fully immersed in the process, residents carefully designed and filled their creations, ultimately crafting unique gifts for the Dragon Boat Festival. This event not only enlightened us on the rich history and culture of cloisonné enamel, but also deeply immersed us in the allure of traditional craftsmanship.

Art Painting Experience of Canton Porcelain

Guangzhou Porcelain is the abbreviation for the art of glazed porcelain in Guangzhou, which involves painting and firing various colored paints on white porcelain vessels.

As one of the art theme activities of the 15th Anniversary Celebration of Ascott Guangzhou, we invited a young contemporary artist, Mr. Chen Mu, to bring a DIY art activity featuring modern Lingnan culture to our guests. Mr. Chen Mu shared the origin, development and manufacturing techniques of "Canton glazed porcelain" on the spot. Guests enjoyed creating their own works of art on white porcelain plates, and explored the ancient Lingnan art culture with their pen tips. Here we saw the perfect combination of traditional culture and modern art. As the event drew to a close, everyone showed their works, enjoyed each other, and took a group photo to bring the event to a successful end.

Tipsy Sunset at Ascott

On the evening of April 23, 2023, Ascott Guangzhou sincerely invited our guests to participate in the "Tipsy Sunset" musical cocktail party, adding a romantic atmosphere to the leisurely summer night.
